Accuracy and quality assurance is always our goal. All of our shop/offsite fabrication goes through a rigorous series of tests to ensure dimensional accuracy, completeness, weld quality and adherence to design and project specification by way of visual inspection, x-ray (RT), mag particle (MP), ultrasonic testing (UT), dye-penetrant checks (LPI) and point-to-point checks to ensure accuracy.

Sustainable Initiatives
Succession planning is a core factor that drives sustainability. To ensure that CEDL can contribute positively to the environment and our country, Trinidad and Tobago, we have set targets to ensure that this goal is achieved. At CEDL, we believe and promote initiatives that will sustain and preserve the environment to ensure future generations can live a comfortable healthy life. Therefore, in the short term, we have fostered relations to contribute towards providing solutions to promote a sustainable water supply and in the medium to long term, we are in the process of developing our capabilities to join in the combat against climate change and global warming, specifically in areas such as Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency and Carbon Reduction Iniatives.
Sustainable Water Infrastructure – Piping Solutions and Technologies
At CEDL, we have observed that Trinidad and Tobago’s aging water utility infrastructure has been further challenged by land slips especially in the southern parts of Trinidad, where geology [soil composition] and climate has contributed to major damages to the surface and subsurface utilities and infrastructure. These damages resulted in leaks to the water utility infrastructure, further contributing to escalated wastage of our water supply. In most cases, the affected systems consist of piping with a very low deflection and elasticity tolerances. Therefore, our team is committed to providing solutions to ensure that our customers can maintain a sustainable water infrastructure by providing the “best in class” technologies in piping systems.
Alternative Energy and Energy Efficiency
Members of our management team has been involved in carbon reduction initiatives and multiple facets in relation to Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency. As such we are in the process of fostering alliances to acquire the capabilities to offer solutions in the following areas:
